This exhibition would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of our good friend in Baghdad, Sattar Hattam. His hard work organizing things on the Iraq end of this venture: coordinating with artists, working with the various governmental ministries to secure the necessary paperwork for the paintings to leave Iraq, shipping the works to Chicago, and many more details which we will never know, have made him an invaluable partner in this venture.
